Growing up in the rolling hills of Asheville, North Carolina, Jennifer West was raised in a home where the kitchen was the heart of everything. Inspired by her grandmother’s handwritten recipes and weekend farmers markets, she developed a love for cooking that was equal parts comfort and creativity. That passion led her to Johnson & Wales University, where she earned a degree in Culinary Science and began blending food artistry with practical know-how.

With a warm, approachable style and a taste for reinventing classics, Jennifer brings a fresh perspective to everyday meals. As a Recipe Designer at EVRYFOODIE, she specializes in creating easy meal recipes with bold flavors and simple steps that anyone can follow. Whether she’s developing new twists on weeknight dinners or styling dishes for photo shoots, her goal is always the same: to make home cooking feel joyful, doable, and a little bit exciting.

When she’s not in the test kitchen, Jennifer is likely out hiking the Blue Ridge trails, baking with her two kids, or hosting laid-back dinners filled with laughter, music, and way too many side dishes. Through her work at EVRYFOODIE, she hopes to inspire cooks of all levels to experiment, gather, and fall in love with food all over again.
