12 oz. (about 1 1/2 cups) salsa
1 packet of taco seasoning
1lb. boneless skinless chicken breast
fresh cracked pepper
Instructions
- Pour salsa and taco seasoning into your crock pot. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and give it a quick stir.
- Add the chicken and nestle it into the salsa mix.
- Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and mix it back into all that saucy goodness.
- Serve in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings, think diced red onion, cilantro, Cotija cheese, and a squeeze of lime.
